ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER: INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

PAY : R325 101 per annum

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
Experience: Appropriate experience in Patient Administration, Information
Management and Hospital Information Systems. Inherent requirements of the
job: Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
Knowledge And skills: In depth Knowledge of Data and Information Management linked to the various Hospital Information Systems used. Computer literacy in MS Package.
Practical workable knowledge of Clinicom, HealthBI, Sinjani,PHCIS, National and Provincial Indicators and related Hospital Information Systems.
The ability to interpret and analyse management reports as well as excellent report writing skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect, check, and report health data from the facility on time and correctly to help with making good choices. Handle patient sign-up, record keeping, and data entry to keep medical information correct, private, and easy to find.
- Find, plan, and lead training sessions to help staff get better at using health information systems and rules.
- Give tech help with computers and related systems to people who use them, including training on Clinicom and other health systems.
- Make sure the hospital’s IT systems, computers, and network are working as needed.
- Watch over office tasks and guide staff to make sure the health information office runs well and follows the rules.
- Help supervisors with office jobs and fill in for them to keep management and operations running smoothly.
