Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Wash, dust, and mop floors with the right tools and cleaning products.
- Vacuum and wash carpets, making sure they are dry before work starts.
- Wipe clean desks, chairs, walls, doors, and decorations on the walls.
- Empty trash cans and ashtrays, and throw away garbage safely.
- Wash windows until they are clean and clear.
- Keep the kitchen clean and put away dishes properly.
- Clean restrooms and refill items like soap, towels, and toilet paper.
- Check cleaning supplies and tell someone if anything is missing.
- Take out garbage following hygiene rules.
- Prepare coffee and tea areas and take care of the dishwasher each day.
- Quickly report any maintenance problems or unusual things.
- Obey all health, safety, cleanliness, and environmental rules.
- Be friendly and professional when talking to customers and employees.
- Deal with problems or requests, and ask for help if needed.
Education and Experience
- Education: Grade 12 preferred. Grade 10 with at least 2 years’ cleaning experience will be considered.
- Experience: Previous exposure to an office, retail, or facilities environment is advantageous.
Skills and Knowledge
