The training curriculum will be rigorously aligned with the specific requirements and standards set forth by the Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services Sector Education and Training Authority (MerSETA). This alignment ensures that apprentices receive industry-recognized qualifications and are fully prepared to confidently undertake and successfully complete their trade test

Responsibility:
- Knowing how to use simple tools
- Understanding basic medical help

- Moving to different work areas as needed

WORKING CONDITIONS
(Physical, sensory, mental demands and environmental condi-tions) Factory/Workshop environment and on Eskom Power Stations in Mpumalanga / Volksrust areas. Bulk of the mechanical positions are linked to a 4-year Eskom contract, hence: Preference will be given to individuals who originate from the following areas: Volksrust, Amersfoort, Witbank, Middleburg, Lephalale and Delmas. Practical training will mainly be conducted at the factory workshop in Johannesburg as well as the relevant Eskom Power Stations. The region from which the individual originates will be taken into consideration.
Successful applicants will be awarded a Limited Duration Contract, offering a structured learning environment coupled with practical, hands-on experience.
