Senior/Leading Fire Fighter
The role involves responding to fire-related incidents, conducting emergency rescue operations, providing medical care, fire prevention, and training activities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for operating and maintaining firefighting equipment and ensuring the protection of lives and property.

Key Responsibilities
- Go to fires, help people, deal with dangerous materials, and handle other emergencies.
- Free trapped people, bring them back to life, and give them simple medical help.
- Use firefighting and rescue tools well and without getting hurt.
- Do jobs to stop fires and check places to make sure they are safe.
- Take part in practice runs, training, and exercises to stay in shape.
- Teach workers how to fight fires in theory and in practice.
- Drive and use special fire trucks.
- Keep firefighting tools in good shape and ready to use.
- Fill out reports about what happened, do regular office work, and keep records.
- Make sure people follow the rules for being healthy, safe, and protected from fire.
- Help with fire and safety training, inspections, and teaching people how to stay safe.
- Take on manager tasks and handle things related to workers when needed.
Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification (minimum).
- IFSAC Accredited and NFPA 1001 Firefighter II certification.
- 2–3 years of relevant firefighting experience.
- Valid Code C1 driver’s license with PrDP (advanced driving advantageous).
- Medically and physically fit.
- Knowledge of fire chemistry, fire prevention, and firefighting systems.
- Hazmat knowledge and experience (essential).
- First Aid Level 1–3 and EMT certification.
- Clear criminal record.
- Strong communication, administration, and interpersonal skills.
