Description
The Health Systems Trust (HST) is looking for four (4) Data Capturers/Drivers to work on the National Department of Health’s Global Fund Tuberculosis (TB) Project in the eThekwini area. These Data Capturers/Drivers will work with mobile X-ray units, handling data entry and management. They will be part of a mobile team that includes an X-ray technician and a nurse. This is a temporary job that may be extended if funding continues and performance is good.

Key Responsibilities
- Help the Digital Chest X-ray program by collecting and managing data.
- Help collect, check, and report data related to TB at health centers and in the community.
- Make sure all data is current and report any needed referrals to the staff who track them.
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly data reports.
- Work with team members and project leaders to meet project goals.
- Talk to Health Department staff to gather important information.
- Collect and check data each month and quarter to ensure it is accurate, and fix any errors.
- Provide monthly and quarterly data from the system and create reports on what went well and what was difficult for the health center, sub-district, and district.
- Handle filing and office tasks, and do other assigned tasks as needed.
- Make sure weekly, monthly, and special reports are turned in on time.
- Set up and get ready for daily tasks.
- Prepare the vehicle for community work and keep a record of its use.
Key Attributes
- Able to use Microsoft Office programs well.
- Skilled at organizing data.
- Able to handle disagreements in a good way.
- Makes choices that lead to achieving goals.
- Must have a current South African Code 10 driver’s license and a PDP, and follow all driving rules.
- Must not have a criminal history.
- Knowing how to enter data into health monitoring systems like TIER.Net or DHIS is a plus.
Education Required:
- Grade 12 Certificate

Remuneration:
The salary package for this position based on Global Fund requirements ranging from R230,908 to R 308, 527.87 as the Total Cost to Company.
