ENDING DATE: 04 September 2025
PURPOSE OF THE JOB. To be trained towards an artisan in a Learnership programme.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12/ STD 10/ NQF Level 4 equivalent is essential
- A minimum of N2 with four (4) complete subjects or NCV level 4, with subjects relevant to the trade is essential.
The candidate must: - Undergo knowledge assessment, psychometric assessment and attend a formal interview.
- Obtain a medical fitness certificate (Red Ticket) and Heat Tolerance Screening (HTS)
PERFOMANCE AREAS
The successful candidate will be responsible to:
- Get artisan skills through a formal training program.
- Help skilled workers with their tasks and do technical jobs like fixing, replacing, and taking care of equipment using engineering knowledge.
- Finish all engineering training steps and learn on and off the job to become a qualified artisan.
- Learn and follow Marula Mine’s rules, regulations, and standards to make sure the company follows best practices and laws.
- Work well and carefully with a coach (artisan or foreman) while being watched and guided.
- Find simple problems, figure out solutions, and report issues.
- Keep engineering equipment working well and help stop production problems.
- Act as a supervisor with some limits to learn how to manage others.
