Minimum Requirements:
- Must have passed Grade 12 with Maths and Science or have an N3–N6 qualification including trade-related subjects.
- We prefer to hire based on Employment Equity (women are especially encouraged to apply).
- Applicants must be 18 to 35 years old.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Do general upkeep in your work area.
- Teach and help other employees improve their technical abilities.
- Suggest and put in place ways to constantly make things better.
- Take part in top-level manufacturing activities while following safety rules.
- Figure out what’s wrong and understand problems to get the most out of production and fix equipment.
- Handle emergency repairs, scheduled upkeep, and forward-looking maintenance to keep things working well.
- Study failures, follow maintenance schedules, and make changes to shorten the time equipment is out of service.
- Help create long-term engineering plans to cut down on maintenance and breakdowns.
