GOAL:

  • This is a training program where people will learn to be millwrights, auto electricians, or fitters and turners.
  • Those accepted will work as hourly employees for the program’s full length (4 years).
  • Getting a permanent job after the program isn’t promised and depends on job openings.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A NTC3 in Electrical/Mechanical, Math, and Engineering Science, or a Technical Matric with Pure Math, Engineering Science, Electrical or Mechanical Trade Theory, Technical Drawing, or Graphical Design.
  • Having workshop experience in the related trade is a plus.
    Auto Electrician
  • A NTC3 in Auto Electrical Trade Theory or a Technical Matric with Pure Math, Engineering Science, Auto Electrical Trade Theory, Technical Drawing/Graphical Design.
  • Having workshop experience in the related trade is a plus.
    Fitter & Turner
  • A NTC3 in Mechanical Trade Theory, Math, and Engineering Science, or a Technical Matric with Pure Math, Engineering Science, Mechanical Trade Theory, Technical Drawing/Graphical Design.
  • Having workshop experience in the related trade is a plus.
